Pressed joint Quadruped

Constructed by putting hydraulic pressure onto steel to press through profiles, effecting them to form into a connection. After releasing the force, the steel strongly clamps together and creates a joint due to the shape-memory of the material.

This technique is an intervention on the production method of deep drawing, where steel is drawn into a shape by the mechanical action of a punch causing it to exceed in size.
