road lamp

The road lamp is a reinterpretation of the industrial streetlights seen along highways: utilitarian objects built for function and durability. Stripped of excess detail, the lamp retains only what’s essential, translating the original form into a minimal domestic object.

This work is part of 'highway systems',  a larger research in how principles of highway infrastructure can inform furniture design.
